Embery Candles was born in Tampa with a simple belief: scent has the power to shape how a space feels. Founded by husband and wife duo, Pat and Shannon Cooper, the brand grew from years spent working in fragrance, retail, and marketing—learning the industry from the inside and dreaming of doing it differently. And after watching too many brands prioritize profit over product, they set out to create something more intentional: clean, modern candles made with quality ingredients and real care behind every pour.
Today, every Embery candle is crafted with all-natural wax and shipped directly from their Tampa studio, keeping the process personal from start to finish. What started as a passion project has grown into a brand built on thoughtful design, accessible pricing, and feel-good fragrance. At its heart, Embery is about creating atmosphere—helping people slow down, set the vibe, and enjoy the little moments that make a house feel like home.
Digital marketer by trade, Pat is the co-owner and heads up business relations and advertising. His favorite candle scent is Coffee + Cream.
Shannon is the co-owner and the brains behind all of Embery's bestselling scents and eyecatching label designs. Her favorite candle scent is Lavender + Embers.
Bowser runs on belly rubs, squeaky toys, and a strict snooze schedule. And occasionally supervises candle making.
